What a genuinely helpful post 😛

I totally forgot about http://www.mcs-list.org/server/27307/kraftzone/

The reason however is that the current 4 listed voting sites were chosen to focus players votes on. Having lots of voting sites might be good for players to get rewards, but it does zip all for the server rank if not enough people are voting there on a regular basis. So rather than give anyone a tons of sites to vote at the server(and perhaps some might go vote at them all get the rewards and then have zero interest in voting again. That is the situation I try to avoid, I'd rather have players be a little more motivated to just voting on a few server listing sites than spreading the votes out thinly among many voting sites.

However the site at http://minecraftservers.org/server/69970 or  http://kraftzone.net/mcservers   is on the cutting block, I don't care for this voting site or the hassle of voting at it anymore as its pain in the ass for me waiting for its stupid image captcha shit to fade in and out the text of what to click on next, and the loading bar at the end just more stupidity that isn't needed. I old the site owner about it and they've done fuck all about it. So time to ditch them.

Quiet frankly I can't stand any of these voting sites but its a somewhat necessary part of running a server unless you have some other way to attract new players which I don't.

So if you want to choose another site to vote at then by all means let me know which ones you prefere to vote at and which ones I shoudl dump.

The best site for actually attracting new players to the server is planetminecraft who are very helpful and actually seem to be less focused on trying to make money selling advertising Where as sites like http://minecraftservers.org are entirely focused on getting servers to pay for even having an server image banner, and advertising for listing rank, while at the same time providing a totally shit experience for players to actually vote for there favorite server.
