Hi there, I do not believe I've met you in-game so you will have to take this with a grain of salt as I'm basing my assumptions off of this thread.

Now you seem to want to help people - being a helper or staff member will not dictate whether or not you can help someone;

You had said this yourself: "I want Kz to grow so helping other players, especially new ones is something I like to do!". Sure - helping players will ensure that some, or a majority, come back and do not quit because they can't get an answer to some burning question they may have. If players stay - our community grows, hold on a moment, no it doesn't. IF majority stay when being helped we'd be losing players.

If you want to help Kz grow - we need to become more popular or get our name out there as best as we can; doing so would require VOTING. If you cannot bring it upon yourself to spend 2 minutes on voting and helping further the server because "You don't like the idea" then you're either lazy or you just cannot be bothered to do so. Of course a big server will do much better with votes; but little servers also have ranks. Rising in ranks will help us get more noticed.

Finally, it's fantastic that you love to give "expensive" (where is your modesty?) items out to your friends and town members; but what of the economy? Should my farm and profit have to suffer because you want to make money worthless in your town? We have an economy on this server for a reason - it gives players an order in which to work; how long can we expect to keep a player once he's given everything he needs, losing the challenge of minecraft? That does not sound like community progression to me in the slightest.

I would assume you mean grief but you made the mistake twice, If you did mean grief I made some holes in their floating plat form and stuff bcuz they killed like...20 of my horses bcuz I refused to give them horse and dog eggs. I didn't steal anything.

just for killing 20 horses?
your horses was very valuable to you but you dint bother to put protection on your horses
and you dint think before teleporting them to your home

you can only protect three horses. Also when I was building I saw a message from the plug-in that protects horses that one had died...idk how, they were all in enclosures that were big and they couldn't suffocate. Also, When I greifed I didn't do anything to harmful, I just spawn killed them a bit and destroyed some of their plat form they built on, I also did a bit of damadge to to the roof of one of their houses and destroyed a farm and nether portal. If I wanted to grief properly I would have destroyed everything.

Your going to apply for staff/helper and your going to do this?

Hello Lily, I don't think I have met you either.

Yes, being a helper wouldn't make the difference between being able to help someone or not, but it shows them that if they have questions they can ask me instead of not knowing where to go to find their awnsers. Also, as staff I would get cmds that could actually make a difference. 

Would you mind rephrasing the third para-graph, im sorry It didn't really make much sense to me, im sure I am being very stupid at the moment.

You said that there was something called ranks for voting? I don't vote because I think it is unfair to servers that are small like this and other servers who constantly have thousands of players online are the only ones who get anything good out of it. Clearly there is more to ranks than I previously thought, I will look into that and consider voting regularly again.

So okay, to be a better helper I need to be less generous and give out less stuff, Probably be more patient and not damage peoples land if they do bad things to me, such as kill my well bred horses I spent lots of time and money on, vote more and work on my play time. Next time I log on I will try to workon all of these things, Thank you for your advice.
