Blame Mojang and there stupid effing UUID crap

The server does not work on player names anymore, if you login through premium proxy/server your authenticaed UUID is from Mojang and has your username attached.

If you login through the cracked server, you do not get a UUID from Mojang, instead you get a different Offline generated UUID that is based on your username.

These usernames can be the same, however most plugins on the server do not recognize usernames, they instead look up your UUID...which will differ depending on if you account was authenticated or not when joining the server...

Thus the UUId's are different, and I only set your rank on your Premium Account UUID...

As it is stands not all plugins use the UUID system (its a mess and even worse for dual login servers like Kraftzone), some still use usernames.. expect weird bugs like this happening... also there is strange bug that sometimes resets ranks I never did find a fix for it, short of just redoing the rank again.
