Well you can store pics for graphics, make a loop-like text based game, and on ti-inspire you can have colored images. And much more...

TI calcs can't do much i'll admit, but it involves fun lightweight programming and you can make things like board games. I even put blackjack on my calc a while back. Its only good for simple games, but they can be a way to kill time during school or a lecture.
