Feedback / Suggestions
« on: June 23, 2014, 08:54:16 pm »
I have a few suggestions:

1. Decrease auction times.

Waiting 8 minutes for an auction that is completely overpriced and no one is interested in is not cool; I want a turn too.
I think the maximum time should be 1 minute (Ranging from 10-30 seconds and 45 seconds), and their should be a rule stating you cannot spam your items in the auction to allow others a chance.

2. Fix the rail section of the admin shop.
(2.1)Detector and Activator rails are not added to the shop, instead the sign simply states they are "Out Of Order".
(2.2)Add the option to buy rails in sets of x64 instead of single purchases - the current x64 sign sells SAND not Rails, I want a refund on top of all of this (obviously gamemode or my $2400 refunded will do)

So it has come to my attention that there have been rumors spreading about me and the validity of my personal life. It seems that someone found an application that shares the same username with me, and because it uses a different real-life name I must be pretending to be something I'm not.

The application I am speaking about is this: - it was written on February 11th, 2012, which is practically the beginning of the year. (There is the application because I realize some of you are really dying to see it).

This account was given to me as a Christmas gift from my brother in December of 2010 - it has been, and still is a shared account. I play on this account, my youngest cousin plays on this account in singleplayer, because he can adjust his skin - my brother had played on this account up until the start of 2013 when a server we both enjoyed playing on ended. If you haven't put one and one together just yet his name is Kyle. I've held many high-ranking positions throughout my 4 years of minecraft and I'm well aware of the overly used excuse of 'my brother did it', or 'it wasn't me, it was my brother' - to put it bluntly, I could care less if you believe me or not. This thread is not about proving my story, it's about getting my side of the story out in the open.

Months ago, before my resignation I spoke to Koolio quite frequently, usually at night when few people were online; no one was busy and we could finally chat. I spoke a lot about my personal life, my family and even my goals and aspirations with school and my career path that I'd like to take.

Why did I state the fact that I had spoken about my family to Koolio? Because I mentioned the story of how I gained my account; my family members - including my brothers and that I was in my first year of university. As you can see, that application was created at the start of 2012 - he had taken a 2 year course; it's over now.

Never in my history of KraftZone have I ever used my gender as an advantage, I've put a lot of work into KZ and my rank was based off of that - there were days that I'd spend doing nothing but the wiki; or staying up all night to help someone with a task they had planned, so I cannot fathom why my gender is so important to you people. When people ask me my gender I generally ignore it; and as I've said many times (and continue to do so) "why does it matter?'. What cause would I have to pretend to be something I'm not on a server where my personal life does not intertwine with the community or the server in the slightest? Where is the logic in such an idea?

As I said before, I could care less if you believe me - people should have spoken directly to me instead of spreading ignorant, childish rumors about me. My gender or personal life should not be any of your concern. If you wish to continue to get giddy when someone starts immature drama so be it, the final verdict is yours.

Here's an eevee:

Hi there,

So it has been a really long time since I've been on KZ, as some of you may remember I was really busy at the time with life; school and work really took up all of my time.

As of lately I have a lot of free time so I'll be coming back to KZ - thank god for time management.

I really look forward to seeing some old friends and bitter rivals; wanted to keep this short so we can trade some stories in-game.

Peace out,

Hi there,

As some of you know I have transferred universities to switch majors; the courses I took are History & Biology. That in itself will require majority of my time - along with those classes I will be assisting my Biology professor (thank you to my current advisor for setting that up for me) as a lab assistant (extra curricular, not to mention I will learn a lot!).

Now you might be thinking "Hey, that's only 6 - 7 hours a day - you have like 7 additional hours to spend on me!". Well you're right ... and wrong! Aside from studying I have also applied for more hours at work so I can pay my tutition/book fees, etc, and still have the ability to save up money for the/my future. That pretty much fills up my entire day, so the responsible thing to do is retire and let someone else have the chance to do something helpful for the community - of course if I can't be on people can't be helped.

Of course you're hoping there's a list of names I leave with some sentimental diss; and of course, you're going to get it, oh how I spoil you:

Kooglio: Of course it wouldn't be a generic kiss ass leaving/retiring thread without mentioning the owner. You are a smart guy - it is nice to see you teach yourself things to better yourself in something else. When I have a problem, whether that be with a person, school or my love life you're there like a good friend to sit down with me and talk!

Johnny: You do a lot of good for the server and you do it with a great attitude; you take things in stride and aren't afraid to mess up or ask for help. With an attitude like that and the willingness to learn I can see you going very far.

Alythh: You have these islands that are special to you and you wouldn't let anyone build on them; but that didn't stop you from letting me build my first real house there! I had a lot of fun with you on the island!

CreeperZx3: The only reason I like having you around is so I can be passive-aggresive to you; knowing you have to take it makes me happy.

RyanMT99: I'll address you later in this post.

TrampOllen: Tramper, you're super good with redstone and as I am not I was always a little envious! While we don't really talk much (I always tell you that you need to speak more) we spent a fair amount of time together - your mountain is considered home by many!

seaofpain: You're a bit of a nutjob sometimes but you do have your moments of humor!

ZForsZ: We have actually spent a lot of time together - especially during the creation of WH; of course I was more of the foreman while you built, but it still counts, it does!

Woombo: Wombo, Woombo, Woombo... even before I was a wikiteam member and helper you were friends with me - even as you were a staff member. I don't consider friendships post-staff as strong as pre-staff because my rank wont make them like me! We played a lot and it's weird saying bye to you.

Slyguy47: Sly - we started off on a super good foot and apparently that's rare so I was thankful for that. Your wit and humor makes me laugh a lot, we should talk sometime!

kcherry: strange name for the list I know; but in reality you were my first friend on KraftZone - we spent hours together building that camouflaged ant nest and farm house. Don't worry about what other people think of you - you're a great person.

Honorable Mentions:
xXDarkxSpartanXx: You are a total nut job, egotist, antagonizer and jerk some-, most times - but you definitely have a good heart! You are very dedicated to WitchHaven and I consider our friendship pretty strong; keep on working towards that helper rank, you're bound to get it in no time! (On a side note, if we listened to you and banned everyone you wanted banned there would be 3 people left on the server).

There are a lot of names for this list; if you think I like you, I probably don't - if you know I like you then this is for you:
I've spent time with everyone regardless or ranks; registered, members and even donators - I've made a lot of friendships and I will remember a lot of you for when I do play again in the future. Continue to have fun and be social - that's the type of person that I drive to hang out with on Minecraft.

Regarding WitchHaven:
I'm sure some of you are curious as to who will inherit my monster of a town - well, I thought about it long and hard (the person who I've given this town to will have something to say about that). The person I want running WitchHaven will have a few choice traits:

The person I've given my town to is RyanMT99; continue on the WitchHaven way - Quality over Quantity; don't steal members and continue to help out all members in need. While WH has this notority for stealing members we do not actively promote theft or try to convince members to leave their towns. Whilst many members of towns leave to join our town is not our doing. Do keep Dark on a leash.

With this I retire, hoping you guys have a lot of fun in Minecraft!
After a few weeks I should be setup and I may find some time on the weekends to come online but that is very doubtful as the little time I do have will probably be spent with friends.

Feedback / Tekkit Server
« on: March 25, 2014, 09:30:42 pm »
I am here to offer a suggestion/addition to KraftZone.

I would like to see a 'sub-server', if you will, added to the KraftZone family; more specifically a Tekkit server.

I would like it somewhat similar to KraftWars, but instead of an entirely new website I would like the tekkit forum added as a sub-forum to keep everyone together. I think where KW lacks (at least for my personal enjoyment) is the community - people want to try KW but do not stick to it because their friends are on KraftZone having a blast or asking for repairs (my attempt at humor).

Along with a shared forum I would like the Tekkit server to have cross-map chat. I understand that may seem impractical or difficult to do but it would be essential. It would allow regular players to communicate with their friends anywhere and know what they're up to - and it is also essential for staff members. Multiple staff members will not always be on both servers so having cross map communication to express issues, ask for assistance and, deal with rule breakers (including advertisers) would definitely be ideal. With a shared task the aforementioned issues would be very simplistic. Accompanied by the shared chat a /server main and /server tekkit command set would be ideal; that way we can switch between servers and deal with players very quickly.

I understand everyone is busy (especially staff (including Kooglio)), so I would not mind offering my assistance in anyway to help put together, manage and help grow the Tekkit server. I play very frequently - enough so that 1 support is able to really cover all support based needs without issues. With a shared chat I can continue my duties on KZ and also enjoy my time on the Tekkit server.

Please feel free to leave your input; expressing what you do and do not like, as well as concerns.
If it is constructive criticism please leave an explanation as to why you feel that way or believe in your opening statement.

Thank you,

Here is more information regarding the Tekkit addon; as well as the whole Technic Pack:

Feedback / In-game suggestion
« on: March 16, 2014, 12:15:04 am »
So I have a in-game suggestion that I'd like to... well, suggest!

My suggestion is regarding the current ranks (Staff, Support and Admin).

I would like to see them changed to something more common, such as:

Staff -> Moderator
Support -> Admin
Admin -> Owner

I have a few reasons for this:

1. It will cut the repeatative questioning on what exactly the support rank is - and who the owner is.

Sure we could always just tell them to enter /ranks to see the owner and give them the definition of the support rank but most do not bother to ask when they are unsure.

2. Lack of Support helpfulness.

I've noticed that since I've become a Support player the amount of help people ask me for has dropped drastically - I'm only relying on past history with these players for them to ask for my assitance. I've basically turned into a helper with some extra commands!

Many times people who needed help have not bothered asking me but instead waited for a Staff member to come online.

The "Staff" rank sounds like a real rank in terms of someone that can deal with all player issues - support on the other hand... it sounds like someone who would help you log into Minecraft on the forums or deal with computer issues (Let's face it, I can barely turn my laptop on without problems).

Those are my only two major points - hopefully it is considered; I realize it would be such a huge change after having the Staff/Support/Admin ranks for so long - I know they are unique and I do like that - but I think they should be changed!

Announcements / CoM: Zombies
« on: February 24, 2014, 03:58:47 am »

Hi everyone,

We're pleased to announce that CoM: Zombies is now available to all players on KraftZone!

Whether you love slaying the undead or just enjoy some friendly competition among friends and community members, we're sure you'll have a blast in this new mini-game. There is money to be earned, monster kill totals to increase and boasting rights to be won!

CoM: Zombies is based on the popular video game "Call of Duty" and the Zombies mini-game associated with it. Players may join/leave games and even play the mini-game in a multiplayer or single player setting.

Upon entering the arena you will notice a point sheet on the right hand side; you gain points for killing zombies. You can spend points on doors to progress through the levels (simply right click the signs with enough points).

You will notice other strange signs on the walls; these signs are gun, perk and mystery box signs.
The mystery box will give you a random reward for a set amount of points.
The Perk signs will give you a perk for a specific amount of points.
The gun sign will tell you the type of gun available and the amount of ammo that comes with it. The guns are free of charge!

The commands associated with the arena are very straight forward - the following commands are the only important commands to regular players:
/z arenalist - This will show you the available arenas and current progress of the games being played.
/z join (arena name) - This will bring you to the arena of your choice.
/z leave - This will allow the player to leave the current game of Zombies.

We do hope all you enjoy the new mini-game and do encourage you to play with unfamiliar players!
As this mini-game is currently in a 'BETA' state and will constantly be upgraded please tell us of all problems/issues that arise or suggestions to increase the fun of that particular arena.

Best of luck and have lots of fun!

Introductions / Not sure if narcissistic or just a lot about me
« on: January 18, 2014, 07:57:45 pm »

I figured I might as well write an introduction for fun and to let a few people take a look at what goes on inside my head.

I might as well start with the generic information and then move onto more personal things:

In-game username: Extacyy

Age: 19

I live in Canada - specifically Toronto, Ontario!

I've been playing Minecraft since December 2010 (got it for Christmas from my brother) and generally stick to a server until they completely die out - I've been on 3 or 4 servers since first starting Minecraft.

I do attend university 5 times a week instead of 3 so I have more time to do things during the day.

I have 2 dogs, 4 cats, 1 bird, 3 fish and a chameleon. My chameleon is named Steve and he is usually pissed off for no reason.

I absolutely love to run; I run every morning and when I was in high school I was on the track and field team each year.

Music is a big part of my life; some of my favorite bands are Secondhand Serenade, Hawthorne Heights, Alesana and Red jumpsuit apparatus. If you like the same bands as me we might be soul mates.

Friends are also really important to me and I do put a lot of trust into people... granted that is if they've earned it. I might be a little quiet at first but I really do love to talk.

My Skype is *censored* ask me for it - if we have been getting along and I like you then feel free to ask for my Facebook and we can connect on there as well.

Aside from Minecraft servers I really like using forums; it's an easy way for me to meet people that doesn't seem so one on one like a minecraft server.

Anyway, how to end this thread on a good note... OH!

I sure said 'I' a lot... it's all about me!

Wiki / How to take, crop and upload screenshots
« on: January 18, 2014, 06:44:31 am »
How to take, crop and upload screenshots:

1. Taking your picture

You will start by finding the picture you'd like to take.
Once an image you would like to screenshot is found press F2.

You will receive a notification in the chat box regarding your screenshot:

2. Finding your screenshot

Once you've taken your screenshot you will have to locate it.

2.1 Click the start button and type in %appdata%
(see image 1 in picture above)

2.2 Click the "Roaming" option that appears.

2.3 One in the "Roaming" folder open the .minecraft folder.

2.4 Once in the .minecraft folder open the "screenshots" folder.

2.5 Once in the "screenshots" folder you will be able to find your picture by 1. visually matching the available photos to the photo you took; or 2. matching the file name of the photo with the one given in the chat box earlier (see step 1).

3. Using your cropping program

Most people will have the 'Paint' program available so that is what we will run with; the same idea will be used for any program of similar build (such as after effects or even photoshop).

3.1 Open paint.

3.2 Drag and drop the photo from your screenshot folder into the paint program.

4. Congratulations, you can now begin editing your screenshots (please keep in mind faking evidence in reports will be found out through a simple search of logs).

4.1 Once your photo is open in paint you can click the square cut button called 'crop'. Crop will allow you to cut a specific area (allowing you to have cleaner, smaller and more presentable photos - especially when cutting borders) from the photo. Simply drag the available cursor over the area you'd like to crop - it will be a square once pulled - you will learn how to use it quickly.

4.2 Once you've cropped the area that you'd like to save you will press CTRL + C to copy it to your clipboard; once it is copied press CTRL + N to start a fresh sheet. You can then press CTRL + V to paste the new cropped image to your paint.

4.2.1 Once you new found image is pasted to your canvas you may notice there is a lot of white border surrounding it:

This will make the final product look sloppy, so if you do have it we must clean it up.
Hover your mouse over the tiny white squares on the border and pull the white borders up until hidden.

4.3 Now that you have a magnificent, clean, somewhat sensual piece of cropping artwork you can now save your piece:

You will click the floppy disk (see image 1) and hover over 'Save as'.

You can then choose PNG Picture or JPEG picture to save the final photo - I prefer PNG for the slightly smaller size; but hey, you don't have to be like me. JPEG will be a slightly larger folder but when dealing with high resolution images (such as 1080p) it makes a world of difference.

4.3.1 It would be ideal to save your photo to the desktop for easy access but please feel free to save it to whichever destination that you will remember.

5. Congratulations! You've mastered the art of taking screenshots and cropping them; let's get those beautiful pictures uploaded now!

5.1 We'll head over to our friendly neighbourhood free image hosting site;

Once on tinypic you will see the following:

Click 'Choose File'.

5.1.1 You will now locate your photo - go to the destination that you saved the file and search for it with the 'File Name':

5.2 So, feeling excited yet? You're almost there!

Hit that green, UPLOAD NOW button!

5.3 I tricked you. You were so excited to upload that but there's a mean bandit in the way - he likes to go by the name of 'capcha'.

You'll answer the capcha quiz question or enter the letters/numbers provided to move on.
Please keep in mind this usually pops up on the first upload to prevent spammers; you'll be free of capchas for 6-10 uploads.

5.4 You will see 4 possible ways to share this image; to directly share the photo you will want to copy the 'IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards'.

6. So you've finally made it to the end; I'm impressed - it's a lot easier than it was made out to be, huh? Keep in mind once you get the hang of it it'll only take you 20 seconds to crop and upload your beautiful photos.

6.1 Now that you've got your forum link copied head over to the forum of your choice; naturally Kraftzone.
You can simply CTRL + V or right click to paste the link.

If you are unsure about the legitimacy of your skills please feel free to hit preview to preview your photo beforehand.

7. Links & Crap

You can download Paint here if you do not have it for whatever reason:

Curious about learning more about the paint program? Follow these easy to learn tutorials and have an even better looking photo to show off:

Thank you to Johnny for giving me the idea to write this guide; he made a great point about all of the people asking how to take screenshots - here's a link to his site account:;u=561

Feedback / Introduction Thread
« on: January 18, 2014, 04:06:54 am »

I had just viewed a thread and I realized that there is no place to really introduce yourself on the forums aside from General Discussion however that can easily lead to a flooded thread.

So I purpose that we make a sub-board or 'Child Board' on the General Discussion thread called 'Introductions'. With a specific board to post a introduction more people will take the initiative to do so.

Of course this isn't a life altering forum material and there is absolutely no rush to do it but I think having a place to meet people and let everyone know a little bit about yourself when first joining will really help certain players 'break the ice'. Let's face it, not everyone is great at starting up a conversation or jumping into one on a new server. Meeting some people beforehand will give people the feeling that they can connect with those that have viewed and written on his/her introduction thread which leads to making even more friends.

I think if people have a great first few logins they'll want to stay; for me personally socializing is a bigger aspect to having fun then actually building and creating.

Feedback / Forum Suggestion
« on: January 18, 2014, 02:53:38 am »

There have been a few troubled players tonight that have been breaking rules which are visible in /rules.

They were warned by many players but chose to continue to break the stated rules once told that what they are doing is against the rules.

Since there were no player moderators online at the time I decided to report them on the site hoping they will learn from their mistakes; once I logged into the website I noticed there is no 'Report Player' option on the Forum (though perhaps I have missed it, I will check it for a third time and remove this suggestion if I find it).

So my suggestion is to add a 'Report Player' sub-forum to allow us little players to help out towards the server and serve justice. If that is added I would like to request it be privatized so only moderators+ (or whichever rank is decided to be able to deal with reports) can actually view the sub-forum. I think that would be a good idea so there is a little bit of anonymity when reporting. I think if people are put on blast less people would be comfortable to come forward and report players who harass them in-game; whether that be through private messages or actions or just random players who break rules.

Here is what I think a great report post should be modeled after:

Your in-game username:

Name of person being reported:

Rule Broken:
